Will Season 8 Bring Back the Fun?
Alright, real talk: Diablo 4’s difficulty changes in Season 8 are the Diablo 4 items latest in a long list of balance updates. But the real question is—will they make the game more fun?
Right now, a lot of players feel the game is either too easy (for top-tier builds) or too frustrating (for underpowered builds). If Season 8’s rework of enemy scaling, dungeon affixes, and boss mechanics actually makes progression rewarding, then I’m all for it. But if this is just another layer of artificial difficulty (e.g., enemies taking longer to kill but not actually being more engaging), then it’s not really an improvement.
Blizzard has to find the sweet spot between challenge and fun. What’s your take—are you excited for these changes, or does it buy diablo 4 items feel like another swing-and-miss for Diablo 4?
